2011 Indian River Paddle Classic

Indian River Paddle Classic raises operating funds for “Coastal Charities”, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization dedicated to funding youth education through outdoor activities in coastal waterways.

July 3, 2011, Melbourne, Florida ‐ The 2011 Indian River Paddle Classic is scheduled for September 23rd and 24th. All proceeds collected from event registration, raffle tickets and donations go to Coastal Charities, Inc, a 501-c (3), not for profit organization.  (http://www.coastalcharities.org).

Website, www.indianriverkayakfishing.com .  Each $65 entry fee includes rights to fish, post‐tournament meal, 2 raffle tickets, t‐shirt, and captain's bag.

Plan to attend the mandatory captain’s meeting on Friday September 23^rd at the Melbourne Strike Zone on New Haven Blvd. Refreshments will be served as we raffle kayak fishing gear.  The tournament will be held on the 24^th and is open to all ages. Anglers under the age of 18 are eligible to participate with a parent or legal guardian signature on the release form.  Watch the tournament website for exciting updates about FREE entry for the new “Junior Angler” division!

Check‐in will begin at 11am at The Lagoon House located at 3275 Dixie Highway NE, Palm Bay

FL. All competitors must check‐in with their cameras by 3pm at the Lagoon House to be eligible for prizes.  The post‐tournament banquet, raffles and awards ceremonies will begin at 4:00pm.
