Being a huge fan of everything Wilderness I just joined and thought I would share my photo of my last fishing trip into Christmas Bay outside of Surfside TX . I started out looking for Redfish but ended up with these three flatties instead, they were 16,20 and 23 inches , I wasn't too disappointed.

Some nice flatties and welcome to the site. Were you using artificials or live bait?
I was using a Gulp Chartreuse Jerk Shad when I caught them but I had thrown many different colors that day without any luck on them.
Gulp....I just cant' bring myself to use it, but this past weekend almost everyone I talked to caught flounder....they were using Gulp. I may have to use some sort of after market scent in a bottle when fishing for flounder.
They do stink, but I use a wide variety of lures and seem to have the best luck with the Gulp , especially with Flounder. The only real complaint that I have with them is that they get torn up pretty easy and it gets a little expensive keeping up with them.
very cool to see you posting here. i like flounder fishing but we just don't have the size or the numbers down south. and a 23 is a wall hanger, very nice!
I'd trade these big Flounder for your nice water any day.
