I am a rookie in every sense of the word.  Most of what I know comes from this or other forums or brief conversations with the staff at Get Outdoors.  I plan on purchasing a couple of Pungo 120's for me and my wife.  I always over research and one of the concerns I have come across is warping the kayak.  Specifically, if I transport on the sides in a Hullaport Pro, I risk warping or squishing the cockpit.  I would not store on the Hullaport - only transport to and from a paddle.  Is there any real cause for concern?

Second, I plan on storing in my basement.  I will suspend from the ceiling.  Is there any preferred method?  I thought I would support at 3 points using a pulley system that should support the weight equally.

I welcome any suggestions.....

OK....no answers - we ended up purchasing 2 Pungos this past weekend. Another question - has anyone looked into placing their name on the kayak - maybe as a decal?
I purchased a pair of Commander 120's this past weekend at a demo event. The Yakima rep there said they have seen "bent" kayaks when people over tighten the bow and stern lines and park in the sun all day. I went with the Yakima Hullraiser Aero, which is pretty much the same as your Thule system.

Snug the lines but don't go crazy with it.
