Okay guys, round two!

Is the Pungo 140 worth trailer changes and the extra money? Currently, I've got a trailer set up to handle a twelve foot boat and would need to make a few modifications for a fourteen foot one.

Owners of the Pungo 120 and 140 let me hear your voices! Is there such performance increases that I should get those two extra feet? Or should I just stick to a twelve?

i would say that it should depend on how your going to use it. if you are running lots of rivers i would go 120... if you need space for camping and what not... go with the 140. you will be just as stable in either. its all about where you want to use it. think about things like with that 12 footer fit better behind boulders and in eddys better than the 14 footer? do i want that extra glide that you get out of the 140? what do you need as far as weight goes? do you have a bad back or shoulders that might make a heavier kayak harder to move around on land? honestly i think that you cant go wrong either way in a general sense. it all comes down to tweeking how you will use it the most. like i said in your other post i love my 12 foot Pungo and wouldnt get rid of it for the world but i would love to get a Pungo 140 as well. talk about your basic "1-2 punch". :-)

good luck with whatever you decide to get... if its a wildy, im sure you will be happy as can be.
We have both 12 and 14ft Tarpons - my partner is 6'2" and prefers the 14ft - better glide he claims. We just purchased two of the new 10footers for a trip and have not tried them out yet. Maybe this weekend.
