T-140 seat help.

Just got a new seat bottom for my older 140, this one did not come with the bottom, I bought the seat pad that comes in the 140 i version. My question is , I purchased the pine tree fastener's that were recommend and was wanting to know if if these seal well...they look a little flimsy and I am reluctant to drill holes in the seat area without knowing they will not leak, I did think that I could put a little marine Goop in them to make it a little better but wanted to know if this was my best…See More
