Hi there.Being the proud owner of a brand new ride 135 2012 model that's replacing my old ride which had front and midship hatch issues i expected Ride to have fixed it's problems with it's hatches. That said the front oval hatch sits higher and has a slight slant which lets the water run into channels removing water quickly around the hatch it also seems to have a denser foam gasket which is a great improvement. Hi there guysI bought my 135 ride about 6 months ago and i am having loads of fun with it. My previous kayak was an epic x18 which had great speed but i had to battle with stability.
