The Cornell Glan Paddlers lost a member of the family last manday Joey dupont sercomed to canser after a long and valett battle at the age of 29 we sent hin on his finel paddle on his 30 birthday on thursday On your next paddle please stop for a moment akd wish him well on his way thanks R Jay

Linda Spears said… - I have been out six times..and am having a blast. Stuck the kayak in a pool and tried a water entry.._NO way. So I'm working on a stirrup system.
I have gone out alone 3 of the 6 times. and do ok. But I limit the time and have not tried open bays..
I may come up to canada and paddle in July...but will borrow a yak.
Plan on trying lake Murray south carolina the end of June.
Been doing mangroves, springs, rivers, wetlands....it is awesome. THANKS for asking.

Abigail said… - Well, WI has some of the prettiest rivers around as far as Im concerned. If you head to the WI Dells area and the Wisconsin River, the scenery is breathtaking. If you are looking for excitement, I am not sure yet...lol The Apostle Islands are yet to be explored by me but I have heard so many great things...and there are sea caves and stuff to explore. The summer in WI is PERFECT paddling weather. :) But right now it is around 20 degrees and bitter cold. lol Come to Canoecopia in March in Madison. Its one of the largest paddling expos you will find. It is the weekend of March 13th. Check out Rutabaga.com for info.
