"I have an older Olympus 550WP that I absolutely love. I've been abusing it on a regular basis and it just keeps coming back for more. As for image quality, it's a 10mp camera with 3x zoom and shoots a couple of different video formats. I…"

"I recently picked up the Olympus Stylus Tough-8010, for about $350. It is 14 megapixel, waterproof to 33 feet, drop/shock-proof from 6.6 feet and crushproof to 220 lbs. It has a few underwater modes and takes video in 720p, which is Hi-Def.…"

"I carry an Olympus 550WP all the time. It's a good, fairly inexpensive camera (seen it recently for under $100). It's a 10 megapixel camera that shoots standard and HD video, plus it's waterproof to 3 meters. Here's a sample of…"

Waterproof Camera

Does anyone have suggestions as to a waterproof camera? I've seen somefrom several manufacturers and wondered what may be in use for kayakingand the pros and cons of what you may use. I use a FinePix S700 andFinePix 5200 for most of my photography but we carry a Sony Cybershot in the 135T ina dry bag. I really want to be able to hang the camera near our EtrexGPS and not worry about splashing or rain.See More
