The one thing I love most and preach most often about kayak fishing is the unlimited potential for adventures.
Wether one wants to catch bass and brim in their local river or lake--or go to their favorite flats spot for red drum there is no lack of fun to be had.

The warm summer water combined with favorable winds for clear water and a lil bit of luck. Lead to the chance to jump in the water with a mask and gear to capture this UW shot of a 30inch (or so) Red Drum, while guiding some clients.
Just cause it's hot outside doesn't meant there is no red drum to be captured.…Continue

I took one of my 1st Surf fishing heavers and gave it anew purpose, as a 12ft outrigger for live biats on the yak.
And it worked like acharm.

It was a beautiful day on the Outer Banks Saturday. Sadly the old addage of East is the least, when it comes to wind and catching applied on this day.
Any East wind is great for clearing the water, but sometimes it just makes it to clear and that is exactly what happened.
