Stoker Shrimp tail

killer day out on the ultra shallow flats of redfish bay today. had an epic paddle out to my favorite camping spot and caught a few fish on the way. we paddled out to the camp and chilled for a while, had a snack, then enjoyed a perfect conditions for the ride home.... the Stoker Shrimp Tail is a new lure on the scene created by my buddy Henry Stokes for dealing with the snags associated with fishing in and around the seagrasses of the laguna madre bay system. big fish are moving up shallow…See More

Lighthouse Lakes Trails beach cleanup....

I can't say enough good stuff about the guys and gals that came out and participated in the Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trails beach cleanup this past weekend. We have a kayak fishing club that meets at my shop periodically and we coordinate the meetings with cleanup days and that has really helped with the effort of getting hands on the sand. The area that we clean is heavily fished by shore bound anglers as well as kayakers and there is always an abundance discarded trash.....it is sad that a…See More
