Monster Striper (51.5") in the Ride 135

I got out tonight and had a chance to chase the big cow striper on Virginia's Eastern Shore. I got there about 5 and when I paddled out there was already a flotilla of kayaks waiting for the big striper. I paddled into position and eased the eel down to the bottom. About 45 minutes later, my conversation with a fellow kayak fisherman was interupted by the slow whine of my drag seeping out. I spun sidesaddle and applied pressure to set the big circle hook. The rod doubled over and the drag whine turned to a roar. About 10 minutes later, I had this 51.5" beauty to the boat........

Hey Ashley, sorry bro, that is exactly why I hung up on you! I dialed the phone and just as it started to ring the fish hit, if you look in the top photo, you can see the yellow phone case poking out of the top of my PFD where I crammed it whe the drag went off!!!
