6/14 Potomac River - 19'' Smallie!!!

I got out last night around 7:30 in my Commander 120 for a quick paddle on the Potomac. I got to a spot that I've been having some success at and started working a crankbait. On about the 5th or 6th cast my lure got slammed and the drag immediately went off. I quickly dismounted from the captains perch and was able to land the fish by pulling it over into some shallower water. I took a couple quick pics and released the bronzy to fight another day. This was the only fish I caught, but I was so amp'd and excited that I really didn't make too many more casts afterward. This is the biggest SM I've caught so far this year and I couldn't be happier. I almost didn't go out due to the short time frame either, boy am I glad I did!
