Wisconsin is a great place to live if you fish. But once we hit late fall it's time to winterize the "big" boat and in the past I've missed hitting the water on those "rare" warm late fall days.

The weekend of November 7 and 8 we had highs of 70 and having just put the boat away, I took the Tarpon 140 out and caught and release some nice smallies. Yet, another bonus to having one of these great kayaks.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that before the lakes freeze that we might have a day or two to again, get out in the kayak.

It wasn't a river, it was a ditch that goes into a flooded pasture out in the middle of nowhere! Basically you drag the kayak through the woods, get in the ditch and paddle for about a half mile, drag over a bearm and a couple of downed trees and then paddle another half mile into the pasture. It is a pretty cool spot!!!

Abigail:

I looked at the pictures in your album. What a great looking river you're paddling on.

What river is that?

Isnt it awasome to have some late-season water time?! I had such a blast kayaking on Nov7/8 weekend. It was unreal that I was on the water that late. THis is my first year with my Tsunami and I am so excited for next year!
Happy fishing!
