My First Fish Landed in 2011 in the Commander 140

My buddy Jason let me know there was a small break in the rain so we decided to take a trip on the water and get the cobwebs out.  The day started out bad for Jason when he missed his rod holder and dropped a rod into 5 feet of water.  I immediately chunked out my anchor that has a bright red buoy on the end to mark the area he lost the rod.  We spent a frustrating 30 minutes looking for a Stradic on a Gloomis rod and decided t look later and go fish.   I happen upon this 27" Redfish with a DOA Glow 5.5 jerkbait on a 5/0 offset hook, and we had a break in steady rain coming out of the southwest.  When that stopped we got a nice cool breeze out of the North.  The red put up a great fight on a ML action Terramar Rod.  Keep in mind that I'm 6'3" 285 which is football player size so I am pretty big fellar in the Commander 140 holding what looks like a little fish.  Jason shot some video so enjoy.
