I've developing a "wacky fly" to mimic a wacky rigged sinko used to target bass. If there's interest, I can post pics.

This is probably a better forum topic than a blog post. Checkout the pics in the Kayak Fishing section.

I've made a wacky version by using a zonker strip and a piece of heavy mono in the center to give it rigidity, Tie the hook in the center with a figure eight right at the bend where the tread stops for the mono weed guard that I tied in. I used 30# mono so that is would give a little when you cast it to keep it from spinning, but be stiff enough to make the bunny strip stick out when it was wet. I caught fish on it with the fly rod, but I also used it for drop-shotting with conventional gear and it was deadly because it still has some movement even with the line taught. I will try to dig it out and post some pics. Looking forward to seeing yours.

I would just tie a strip of rabbit fur sideways like a wacky rig and leave it at that. Do post your version of that fly though. I would like to see it.

I do have an interest in that. Post a photo when you get a chance. I am not much on using Senkos, more my lack of experience with them, however some of the biggest bass I have seen caught (all over 10 lbs) came from dead sticking a Yamamoto Senko.
