My friend, Doug Jr., and I paddled out on the Pasquotank River this morning. We were looking for rockfish ahead of a cold front headed our way this evening. We were fishing when the sun came up.
We each found a couple of keepers and Doug Jr. managed to snag a 3-4 lb. largemouth bass that he released. Smallest rock was 18", largest was 20 1/2". (Doug let me borrow a fish for the picture.)
All in all, a good morning of fishing. Now it's time to get some fall yard work done.
