We got dumped on pretty good today so The Daughter Unit and I decided it was time to load up the ol' 9.5 and find us a hill. We did. This one is about 5 miles from our house and wasn't too crowded because we didn't get there until about 9:45 pm or so. But get there we did... And did we have fun.

Then I gave Cheyenne a running start at the top and that really got her going.



That hill gets steeper and steeper each time I swear...

The first pass at the jump was pretty rough. (yeah my back hurts a little today lol )



It needed to be beat up a little and after a few passes it got a nice little groove in it for the keel to hit and ride through.



after about an hour and a half we loaded up and headed home...

That was a freaking BLAST!

Lots of people were like, "Is that a KAYAK?!? How cool is that!"
I wonder if Dick's is going to sell a few kayaks this weekend? ;)

I've been trying to talk my son into some "snowyaking" but he thinks I'm crazy.

Guess I'm not the only crazy one. I'll post some pictures if I servive.
