Hey. Hope your paddle was good today. Am researching the dvd. Would much prefer not to pay $30 for it, so if you were willing to mail it to me, Id mail it back within a few days of getting it. Otherwise Ill drop the money for it in a bit but dont have it right now.
My favorite resource for paddling right now are my "Paddling in SE Wisconsin" book and the other one "Paddling in Northern Wisconsin". They are great. That whole series is full of great river info.

I prefer your weather...cold..The Tsunami 165 is fantastic..I could see the differnce between my other Kayak (Atlantis14) this is a lot faster, and cut so well on the waves...is just me that II shpoul have checked the kayak before go kayaking...it is very important to chdeck the ruddder that is doing the job propperly..we take things for granted...but just one bolt loose could have cost my life or someone else... just imagine that you are traveling along withou any hassles and then suddenly your kayak is pushing you to the right and you can not controlled ..and on the right is the Niagara Falls..how woul you feel...anyway Abigail Im just trying to keep you awake...you doing night shift..are you..? a good advise keep your kayak in good shape..and all your safety gear..
talk to you soon..
Hi Abigail

up in your area! Mike PS I also am on the Kickapoo about 8-10 times per years.
Congratulations on the engagement!! Sounds like the day came together perfectly. Looks like you're going to need to upgrade to a tandem. Just kidding...if you want the marriage to last, better wait on paddling a tandem together for about 3 years. :-)

Congradulations on hooking up with a fellow lover of the waters. A year ago I retired from jointly operating an ambulance service here in Wisconsin. After 15 years it is great to be out of all politics! My stress dial-down is getting out on the water and as a partime fishing associate at Gander Mountain, I have sent many a person down our local rivers. If you two people or friends ever get to the Baraboo River area, give me a call for some trip alternatives! Mike Cody 608-393-6645 or codyfoto@hotmail.com

Hi Abigail. How do you like the Tsunami? I purchased my first kayak in September so I've been trying to get as much time in as possible before the cold weather hits. Out this week one afternoon. The tempearture was 10 deg C (50 F) so I took advantage of it. I noticed in your photos you mount your kayak top-side-up on your car. How do you find it feels on the road? I mount mine down like the manual sugested, but I've heard mixed opinions on how to mount it. Top-up seems alot easier.
