Has anyone had any issue with fishing in ocean waters and having the front hatch or the mid ship hatches leak????

I have a Tarpon 140 and my wife a Tarpon 120 and sometimes we get a little in the hatch, especially if there are some waves off of Biscayne Bay. Those hatch seals are decent but not watertight, we just ended up getting very large Sealline bags for anything that we don't want to get wet.

The Ride rides pretty high is what I meant to say.

I was washing mine with the hose and got a little through the front hatch on my Ride. Have not used the Ride in the ocean though. My Tarpon does fine out there. Older 06 model with the different hatches though. it does ride pretty high out of the water, so it should not be a huge issue. Even on extremely windy days with lots of chop it should not get too much water up there. If the conditions are that bad, wait for another day anyway. I was out at Trinidad on Monday and the wind picked up to sustained 20-25, and gusts to 35. It was not safe out there and I was glad to make it back in. Conditions were much better when I started. Fishing was next to impossible.
